I finally sketched some of the pets in the new pet portrait thread in the WC Animal and Wildlife forum. A lot of good work in there. So far I have done one bird, one cat and two dogs. I plan to do as many of them as I can. Very good practice, and I so love drawing animals. They are pretty much my favorite subject. Especially dogs. The bird is PJ and is about 5x7, the others are PJ the dog, Hannah the lab, and Kali the one-eyed cat which are all ATCs.
My Ditto went to the groomer today. She doesn't like that. She goes every month and throws a fit each time. There and the vet are the only places she gets to go, so she does not like to go in the car.
The rest of my day has been normal. A little cleaning, a visit to Walmart, a sandwich at home, letting the dogs in and out, and trying to keep cool. We are in the 3 digits weatherwise now. Not sure how long it will last but will be off and on for most of the summer.
My arthritis is acting up today. Shoulders, hands, ankle, and knee are complaining. It is never gone, just sometimes more intense than others. The knee and ankle are from the 1994 motorcycle accident I had. The rest is just age. The wonderful perks of age. But as I have said many times, so far it's better than dead.

Sorry to hear about your aches...but yes, the alternative is worse. Good pet sketches. I never tried sketching an animal, especially since we have no pets. Maybe I'll check the thread and pick one to do. Keep cool!
