I did a piece from one of my reference photos. This was taken at a private home that is restored to be like it was originally. The owners have a lot of antiques throughout the house and we were allowed access to both the inside and the outside. Beautiful house and wonderfully kind owners. I may use this card in a swap I will be in about a month from now.

Hi Jeanne - This is super...nice detail on the wagon and the inside items. I like your idea for the postcards...that sounds like a lot of fun.
I'm up in Maine with Michelle visiting our sister, Tina. We were out plein air painting in the heat this morning. Can't post from here, but I can check in...funny but I can only post comments on some of the blogs I've visited..strange!
Very nice little piece. I would have loved to join you- I love going thru homes, old or otherwise! and I love antiques, etc. I'm very "nostalgic" (if you can't tell by my wanting to capture those farms from my childhood). I also like plants- alot! So I really like this little work of art. Thanks for stopping by my blog. Hope you'll return. :-)
This is very nice. You did a great job!
Very nice. You did a great job on it. Thanks for taking the time to stop by my blog too. I had no idea what had happened to Chima. Thanks for the heads up. I am really glad she is gone now! We are big fans of Amazing Race and Survivor as well. Glad to hear you like reality tv too.
Good job Jeanne. Postcard size is a great size to work with. Your detail is very nice....colored pencil?
Oh, this is stunning! I love it! I love the strong green, I love the composition! Would gladly put it on my wall!!
