Ants, Ants, and More Ants

I haven't done any drawing today, but I think the ants are finally slowing down. I didn't see any for about 4 hours today. And when I did, it was one or two and not one or two a second. Maybe the battle is about over. I'm ready. Now just cleaning up the corpses.....
Tomorrow is plein air day. We will be at a private home in a gated community. There is new landscaping, a club house, and botanical garden. I may have mentioned that already. As far as I know, I have never seen a botanical garden. That will be new for me. All I know is more photos. It's just a good thing I use digital. I could never affor to have developed all the pictures I have taken in the last two months.
I have been watching watercolor instruction tapes by Terry Madden. They were loaned to me, and I have watched the 5 I have. I am hoping to take these back and get more tomorrow. Very interesting and informative. Now to practice what I have learned. But not tomorrow. I don't need an audience for my new endeavor, and most of the ladies in the plein air group are watercolor artists, or are able to use several mediums. And there is a watercolor teacher in the group. Not about to have my first trials seen by anyone. But I am getting an itch to try one.
I still need to pack my supplies for tomorrow and make the chicken salad that I will take along with crackers for the potluck lunch.

I'm glad to see that you're winning the ant battle!! Terry Madden is good to watch for wc lessons. He's very thorough and explains every step well. I watched LOTS of his lessons. Enjoy your outing.
