Hart Park Drawing

Here is the drawing I did of the Lake and opposite shore (with mountains in the background) at the plein air outing yesterday. We had a good time, the tv station was there and it will be on the news tonight, had lunch, and our critique. And the weather was in the 80s and beautiful. Nice and breezy. Next week we will be back in the 90s and be sweating.

How big is this sketch? It came out really nice. It sounds like a fun day with the outing and the tv station too. Good for you!

Jeanne, nice sketch. I haven't seen many landscapes from you. Great.

Thanks Joan and Jo. It's in my plein air sketchbook that is 11x8.5 I buy them at Walmart for about $4. But the paper is pretty good for sketch paper.

When I oil painted, I did a lot of landscapes. I don't do as many now but I do some. A lot of my ATCs in the trades were landscapes.

I love this sketch. This is one of those sketches that would look good as is on a wall.
