Good News

I got some good news yesterday. Two of my pictures I did for the Guild House were sold at the silent auction. The two colored pencil ones (chair and settee). I don't know the price or any other particulars. It gave me great pleasure to know someone liked them enough to purchase them but a little sad that I won't see them again. And a great sense of accomplishment that the first event with my art association that I participated in produced results.

Jeanne, that is great news about the purchase of your colored pencil paintngs! It IS nice to know that someone likes your work enough to want to buy it. I loved those pieces of yours also(very nice/well done). I'm not surprised that they sold. Hope your surgery goes well, I've been reading your posts and could picture you hobbling around on crutches with your plein air stuff!

Yes it was getting to be quite a chore to haul stuff around. I usually just do graphite so it could have been worse. But it will be much nicer when I can use both legs equally.
