Boles Nursery en plein air

Here are some photos I took at the weekly outing. We went to a local plant nursery where we had been during the summer heat. It was a lot nicer with a touch of cold weather.

Hi Jeanne. Thanks for stopping in at Robot Nine. I see you like some of the same things I do, like your photos of the trip to the nursery. I like the foor image, very nice. You might like my photo sites, Seen About Town, which is random, snapshot type images and Grave Undertaking, a new site with collections of images of cemeteries I take.

Come back tomorrow and see some cakes not to be believed.

HI Jeanne,
thank you for the comment. I'm glad to 'meet' you and to find your site. I'm putting you on my list of favorites so I can keep up.

Jeanne, thanks for your compliments on my blog. I was wondering just how someone does collage en plein air? I have thought that it would be fun to do that and I have done landscapes, but only in the studio. how does one hold their paper down when working outside? I am actually giving a half day workshop outside this weekend. They have tables setup and a roof, however. I am not sure how it would be in the field. I do work on an easel in the studio. Interesting!!!

Plein air is much nicer when it isn't too hot or too cold. You've got a nice collection of photos from the nursery.

Ooh, nice reference photos! I especially like the one with the garden containers... the different sizes, styles and colors. I can almost see a gorgeous CP piece of that one!
