My Sketchcrawl Day
The weather here was really foggy today and better to stay off the roads. So I decided to do my sketching at home. I had a very good time except now my right shoulder is killing me from all the circles I made with the colored pencil. Ouch!
Jeanne, I am a color girl so I have to say I LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEEEEEEEEE your vibrant and lively Sketchcrawl. Fabulous. Did you do all these with your Faber Castel new pencils you just got? The work are so bright.
Your sketchcrawl day looks great. I really enjoyed looking at your sketches and reading about your day. It looks like fun.
Is that your cockatiel that you drew? I have two cockatiels living with me (and a lovebird and a budgie). Is one of your dogs a greyhound? The hind legs remind me of a greyhound, or that other breed that my mind just refuses to bring up the name of. My friend has 5 of them so you would think I would remember their breed name. Ugh.
I liked what you said about your mind wandering. That made me laugh.
What a cheerful, juicy colorfest! Love 'em, love 'em! I especially like the colored pencil pages and the Dr. Pepper pages. Wow... kudos for productivity!
What great colors! Love the balance and harmony of the pages. Great choice on staying home and making use of your environment (I sometimes paint in my breakfast nook rather than go face the elements outside!), more time drawing and sketching than if you'd tried to go out in "iffy" weather.
I was waiting to find out about your Sketchcrawl Day! Great idea, just staying inside where it's warm and cozy. When I get a day off, I think I spend it about the same way you spend yours, except that I need to include the drawing part! Maybe some day I will have my own sketchcrawl at home around the house. And yes, I too loved all your colors. did you draw the circles free-hand?

Jeanne, these are just super and brightened my day!
Love the wandering mind bit.
You do swell with the colored pencils now. The flowers in the previous post are so lovely.
I'm smiling!
