January VSD

I almost forgot to do the VSD this month. I have missed the last couple of months and wanted to do this one. I need to get back into the swing of doing it. So I hurriedly did a partial of the peeled orange. About 15-20 minutes work in my Moleskine Sketchbook with colored pencils.

I really like the crop on this. You've captured the colour and light well.

The color is great--a really nice drawing for such a short time. Maybe imposing a time limit on myself would be a good idea!

Nice crop and beautiful done in such a short time.

It's easy to let time slip by and forget about these things.

Sometimes it is tough to squeeze the VSD in, isn't it? Good job completing an entry. I really like the crop and the sunny colors you achieved.

(By the way, my challenge this month is squeezing in time for commenting on all the great entries!)

I like it! As always, your colors fairly jump off the page (I'm envious!) :-)
